Back in 2015, at age 38, life threw me a curveball with a heart attack. It was a wake-up call that set me on a mission to fight heart disease. The Montreal Heart Institute became my lifeline, and that experience lit a fire in me to give back. I participated in several research studies and even organized fundraising events to benefit heart disease research.
